Located west of Trail and north of Rossland, the Village of Warfield was incorporated December 8, 1952. This quaint family-orientated community offers a number of amenities including an elementary school, community hall, swimming pool, village square, and several parks. The village is readily identified by the unique style of homes in Upper Warfield, with their bright colors, sharp peaked roofs, and small windows and doors – the architecture that earned the nickname of “Mickey Mouse Town”. Situated by the Selkirk and Monashee mountains, outdoor enthusiasts have lots to explore. See www.warfield.ca.
